The Wolf convection steam oven is a collection of many parts designed to cohesively work together.
The reservoir and boiler create steam outside the oven cavity, creating highly accurate moisture content. Steam is very efficient at transferring heat, but it’s not hot enough to create flavorful browning.
The higher temperatures needed for browning could be handled by a standard heating element, however, Wolf adds convection for an even more precise and uniform cooking environment.
